With miles of beaches, San Diego is home to year round surf fishing from the shore. The winter typically provides the best opportunity for trophy Surf Perch that pull like a Bluegill on steroids and some decent sized Halibut that will test your tackle. As the water warms and summer approaches the fishing really heats up with Corbina, Spotfin and Yellowfin Croaker, and a wide variety of other game fish available within casting distance of the shore.|
